Electricity Industry Restructuring – assistance to Government and Regulator to plan and implement electricity industry restructuring, with main focus on electricity distribution and supply.

• Assistance to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (Namibia) with the early implementation phase of Regional Electricity Distributors in Namibia – including stakeholder committee management, meeting facilitation, policy development, development of high level approaches to various issues related to the restructuring;
• Assistance to the Electricity Control Board with the more detailed implementation of Central Northern, Central and Southern REDs in Namibia – services including preparation of business plans, high level asset assessment and valuation, assistance with company registration, assistance with managing stakeholder committee meetings, development of a ring fencing implementation guide for local and regional authorities.
